Small charming hotel in the heart of the Gredos Mountains, El Milano Real (Red Kite) is a nest, of peace and tranquillity to sooth the soul and entice the senses. Every corner lends itself to your fantasies: its library with over 2000 volumes in English and Spanish, its private garden and the lounge-bar with its fireplace. 13 double rooms with full bath and 8 thematic suites with terrace, jacuzzi bath/shower, tv, dvd and spectacular views, and WiFi in all the premises. An orchestra of flavours, textures, aromas and colours in each dish. Our restaurant is open to the public, offering creative menus based on each season and including our own garden produce. In Hoyos del Espino there are lots of routes, walkways and paths where one can walk or hike without using a highway. There is horseback riding available for all classes of riders. There are also several routes, with varying degrees of difficulty and nearby places where bikes can be rented. From our town of Hoyos del Espino you can travel easily to the quaint towns of Candelario and Hervás, the nearby towns of Barco de Ávila, Piedrahíta, Ávila, Guijuelo. the Jerte Valley, the Roman highway at the Puerto del Pico, the Caves of the Águila, the Monastery of Yuste etc.

From Madrid: take A6 to A Coruña, then A52 to Ávila. Once you are near Ávila, take N-110 to Plasencia. 10-13 km after take N-502 to Arenas de San Pedro. 43 km after, take AV941 to El Barco de Ávila and Parador Nacional. Once you see the signal of Hoyos del Espino, drive 200m more and you will see our white signal on your right.
