Real Casona de las Amas is a signature hotel, located in a XVII Century, small palace that has been meticulously renovated. It has 16 rooms: 3 suites, 1 Junior suite and 12 double rooms. It is worth planning your stay around September or October because the Rioja Alta is unforgettable in Autumn. Once the harvest is over at the beginning of September, the leaves of the vines turn spectacular shades of green, ochre and garnet, an experience not to be missed. The hotel is well situated near the wine and monasterie's route. The Abadía de Cañas is 4 km away from the hotel and the monasteries Yuso and Suso (World Heritage Sites) are 12 km away. Just 10 km away is the recently opened Wine Museum Dinastía Vivanco and most well-known wineries. Those preferring some adventure and sports will find plenty of entertainment with a golf course Rioja Alta and the ski resort of Valdezcaray. It is also worth mentioning the micro-biology field trips to Ezcaray (a small town at the foot of the mountain that is considered the most beautiful in La Rioja) around this same time of year. Hotel Real Casona de las Amas is located in Azofra. To get to Azofra from Logroño you need to take the ring road towards Navarrete and once you get to Navarrete take the 120 road towards Nájera. Past Nájera, about 7 km on you will find the turn off to Azofra and Abadía de Cañas on your left. Then take the first village detour on your left. The hotel is located on Mayor street, no. 5. You will not miss it as it is the first large town house on your left with two shields.
