Pensión Don Claudio - Bilbao

Recently reformed, the guesthouse located just 2 km from the centre of Bilbao in the Zorroza district. Well communicated with the centre. The guesthouse provides a self service for hot and cold beverages and pastries and there is free public parking opposite the building (just 20 metres away).

Near the guesthouse there is bicycle hire which is a great way to discover the city and a popular alternative way to explore the 'Camino de Santiago' pilgrimage route. You can store the bikes in the guesthouse for free.

Pension Don Claudio is near the Feria de Muestras (Trade Fair).

By car: - From outside Bilbao take motorway A-8. If coming from Madrid, Barcelona, Donosti, etc. take the exit Cruces. - From Santander take exit Zorroza. From the city centre head towards Hospital de Basurto, Avenida de Montevideo- Zorroza (N-634). The hotel does not have a car park, but you can park for free at the municipal car park, 20 metres away. By train: - From Abando train station, or from San Mamés station, next to the bus station (Termibus) you can take the local train towards Santurtzi or Muskiz. The train runs every 5 – 10 minutes and there are trains all night during the weekend. Both stations are connected to metro and tram. The guesthouse is 50 metres from Zorroza station: just leave the station and go down the stairs. By bus: - There numerous bus lines stopping in Zorroza. Both the city buses (Bilbobus) and the regional buses (Bizkaibus) have a stop 50 metres away from the guest house.

The guesthouse does not offer meals, but there are several excellent and inexpensive restaurants, with daily menus and 'a la carte', in the immediate vicinity.
