Apartamentos Muralla Zirí - Granada

This apartment property is set in the heart of Granada’s Albaicín district, an authentic and historic area set on a hillside overlooking the magnificent Alhambra Palace. The Apartamentos Muralla Zirí is made up of 2 restored buildings dating from the 17th and 19th centuries, as well as part of the city’s 11th-century old town wall. The surrounding area of the Albaicín has such historic significance that it has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the arches, pretty flowers and traditional Andalusian-style decor make this the ideal place to experience the authentic Al-Andalus. When you are not taking in the breathtaking surroundings, you can relax at the property with a massage. Here you can also enjoy a session in the Turkish bath before cooling off in the jacuzzi.

The Casa Roja has an Andalusian-style courtyard which includes a jacuzzi and Turkish bath set in the "hararet" (steam room located underneath the historic wall). Once you have passed through the jacuzzi and Turkish bath experience you can relax on the heated marble benches or relax with a massage.

The property is a 2-minute walk from Plaza Nueva, from where shuttle buses climb the opposite hillside to reach the Alhambra Palace. Beyond the square you will quickly reach the sights of the city centre, including the Cathedral , Royal Chapel and the Moorish-style Alcaicería bazaar. In the opposite direction you will find Sacromonte, an area of cave houses famous for its flamenco shows. At the top of the Albaicín you will find the Mirador de San Nicolás, a viewpoint offering spectacular views over the city, the Alhambra and the snow-topped mountains of the Sierra Nevada beyond.

The most practical option is to take a taxi to the apartments door. You can also use the public transport from the airport. The airport bus terminates at the bus station at the Cathedral, less than 300 meters from us. If you are travelling by car, you are required to give us advance warning, as the accommodation is located in a restricted traffic area. You will be able to drop off your luggage at the apartments and then park your car at the nearest public parking facility ("Parking de San Agustín"), less than 10 minutes walk away.

Check-in and Check-out: Check-in time is between 14:00 and 20:00. Guests checking in after 20:00 incur an extra charge of EUR 15 and between 23:00 and 08:00 of EUR 30. A late check-in and airport pick-up service from the airport is available by prior arrangement (fees apply). Departure time is between 11:00 and 11:30. Guests checking out before 08:00 incur a supplement of EUR 15 and before 06:00 of EUR 25. Cleaning: Apartments are cleaned before the arrival of each guest. Cotton bed linen, towels and bathroom amenities included. An additional cleaning, towel and linen change service is available on request during the stay (fees apply). Otherwise, towels are changed every 3 days and apartments are cleaned every 6 days.
