El Nus de Pedra - Llorá

These comfortable apartments are located in an architecturally unique building, in the open countryside and only 12 km from Girona. This is an impressive traditional Catalan country mansion dating from the 17th century. The antique property has been restored to house apartments, all of which are exterior facing and with private terraces. In the central area of the house there are communal spaces such as the reading room, the games room and a reception complete with all the cultural and touristic information you will need for the area. These apartments are perfect for booking a stay with family or friends, giving you total independence. This is a fantastic location complete with mountains, rivers and volcanoes.

There are a host of activities and visits to do here, thanks to its central location in this prestigious tourist area: Girona is 12 km from the establishment and El Call (the Jewish Quarter) and the Cathedral are a must visit here. Lovers of nature will have lots of opportunities to make the most of the landscape here, including; trekking, hot-air balloon rides over La Garrotxa, mountain biking along a variety of signposted routes from Olot to Sant Feliu de Guixols, a round of golf on one of the nearby courses (Girona, Pals, Gualta) or boat hire on Lake Banyoles.

Once you get to Llorà, carry on to your right following signs to "El Nus de Pedra". Continue along this street for approximately 500 metres and at the top you will see a walled country mansion. There is private hotel parking opposite the complex.

Breakfasts are served in the apartments and can be enjoyed on the private terrace. They are made using a wide variety of products. El Nus de Pedra does not have its own restaurant, but there is a restaurant where you can sample excellent cuisine only 300 metres from the establishment. There are a wide variety of restaurants surrounding this hotel: from a 2-star Michelin to restaurants serving typical regional cuisine.
