Hostal Mirentxu - Madrid

Centrally situated just up the road from Puerta del Sol and within easy reach of many of Madrid’s major attractions, this guesthouse provides reasonably-priced, comfortable and above all clean accommodation. Located in the old town, the centre of Madrid’s cultural and artistic activity, Hostal Mirentxu is within walking distance of El Prado Fine Arts, the Thyssen and the Reina Sofia museums, the Botanic Gardens, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The area is great for shopping and has a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and very lively nightlife. Getting around Madrid or travelling a little further will not be a problem during your stay as the Sevilla metro station is under 5 minutes’ walk away. Sol metro station is also close by and has 3 different metro lines and direct connections with the Atocha station (AVE high-speed train).

The Zarzuela theatre is just a 3 minute walk away and the modern art museum Reina Sofia, the Royal Palace, Congreso de los Diputados (House of Commons), the Senate House and Calle Serrano (famous street renowned for shopping), are all within a maximum radius of 2 km. Good access to the Sol metro station just 5 minute away (connection with lines 1, 2 and 3) and not far from Atocha RENFE station.

Breakfast is served from 9:00-11:30, either in your room or in the lounge-dining room. On offer is coffee, chocolate milk, toast, cakes/pastries and orange juice. If you require breakfast please let the hostal know in advance.

Please note that cheques are not accepted as a method of payment. Rooms at the guesthouse are not accessible by wheelchair. For bookings of 7 days or more, the total cost of the booking is charged at the time of reservation and is non-refundable.
