Hotel MS Maestranza - Málaga

Our hotel was fully refurbished in 2005, has impressive panoramic views of Malaga and is situated in the city centre, just 100 metres from the beach. Our excellent location allows easy access to the nearby Alcazaba, adjacent bullring and we are just 5 minutes away from the main monuments and beautiful historic buildings, including the Picasso Museum. For over 3 months we housed the production team of the movie "Summer Rain", as well as its director Antonio Banderas and the movie’s other actors. As well as our superb location and spectacular views, we also provide comfortable accommodation and impressive facilities. Our hotel houses a café restaurant, meeting room and a spa. The spa offers a variety of ways to relax, including a gym, sauna, jacuzzi and solarium. All of these services are free for guests. Massages are also available in the spa at an additional cost.

In the top floor of the hotel is located the Spa and solarium; these amenities are free for the hotel´s clients with the exception of the massages, from the Spa our clients can enjoy, while relaxing, of one of best and most impressive views of the city. The spa will close on Sundays for cleaning, except the gym and the sun terrace.

The hotel is surrounded on one side by the bullring, on the other side the gardens of the Alameda with hundred years old trees, unique in the south of Europe. The hotel is surrounded by the town hall, the port and the Malagueta beach just around 100 metres away. It´s on an area of restaurants and entertainment and romantic walks by the sea at dusk. It is also one of the most important zones of the city.

The restaurant serves typical local and other Spanish dishes, made using seasonal Mediterranean ingredients and with an innovative touch.
