AREA INFORMATION

The hotel enjoys an impressive central location in the historic and commercial heart of Seville, close to all that the city has to offer. The convenient location makes the hotel a great choice, whether you are visiting the city on business, attending a conference or exploring Seville and the surrounding region as a tourist. All of the city’s shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and businesses are nearby, as are all of the city’s attractions, monuments, museums and art galleries. The hotel is just metres from the Cathedral of Seville, it’s famous bell tower, Giralda, and the Archivo General de Indias (General Archive of the Indies), which houses the extremely valuable documents illustrating the history of the Spanish empire in the Americas and the Philippines. The Alcázar of Seville is also nearby. The castle was built in the 1360s by Moorish craftsmen for Pedro of Castile who, with his mistress, Maria de Padilla, lived in and ruled from the Alcazar. Seville’s town hall and the bullring are also nearby, as is the Parque Maria Luisa, which was built for the 1929 Exposición Ibero-Americana World's Fair. Today, the park is still a beautifully landscaped haven of tranquillity in the heart of the city and is also the home of many of Seville’s attractive monuments and museums.
